Revisiting some old ideas

I keep getting asked why I don't make comics, an the answer seems to come bak to time. Well goddammit, I'm gonna make some time. To that end, while I deal with some computer issues I've been working on a zombie action comic I had kicking around a whole ago. Here's some development sketches.

So it's time. This guy's a photographer trapped in zombie infested Paris circa 1880. Nailing down the balance between naïveté and weariness has been fun. Coming soon Vicki the super powered living doll street performer (someone's gotta fight the zombies).

Elbo Room Post show bar sketch

Went to the elbo room this past tuesday and was hanging out downstairs after a show. At one point was accosted by a loud stranger who let me know that if he was my parent he'd hit me for drawing pictures when the light was so low. A cop came in and kicked him out before he managed to talk himself into thinking he was enough of a parent stand in to go through with his strict discipline plan, which is where the floating cop hat in this picture came from. Otherwise its a typical late tuesday night in SF.
